Is it possible to create a filesystem navigation item within Outlook
that would allow users to browse directories in Outlook's navigation
pane? In essence, I would like to integrate windows explorer
functionality into Outlook and capture/process folder click events,
etc.  Anyone know where I can obtain this sort of information?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

As an addendum to the above, it would appear that modifying the
navigation pane is not possible in Outlook. However, can I create a
folder as a mail item that is a tree view into a filesystem? In our
office environment we do not allow users access to windows explorer but
we would want them to be able to explore certain filesystems and move
mail attachments to those areas.

Any pointers would be helpful.
Jim
