Automation/Dates

I have set up an Access application which uses automation
to set up appointments in Outlook.  It seems to work
fine - except for the date.  I am always coming to a
completely different month in the year 1899... The user
is typing in "03" for the year, but it is saved
as "2003"... I do not think I have the symbols stored
with the date field - just as a set of numbers... would
this be causing the problem??

THANKS!

A little code snippet might shed some light on how you're using dates to create the appointment.
