cannot set-up outlook 2003 unable to connect to exchange server

Using Office 2003 professional, cannot set-up Outlook 2003. It says that my
Microsoft Exchange server is unavailable. I am not running a server program.
i am connected to a small home network of 3 computers. Other 2 computers are
running Office 2003 Standard and do not have this problem.

control panel, mail - open the profile and delete the exchange account and
create the proper type of account in the profile.
