I have an Sbcyahoo email address & a gmail email address.  I setup outlook
2003 to get both of the emails and it worked great for a while.  Now all of
the sudden I can not get Outlook to access either email account.  Any ideas
what happened and how I can fix it?

Enable diagnostic logging and see what the log says.

Also I have tried testing the email account and I get the following error
messages.

"Send test e-mail message: The specified server was found, but there was no
response from the server.  Please verify that the port and SSL information is
correct.  To access these settings close this dialog, then click More
Settings and click on the Advanced"

"Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): The specified server was found, but
there was no response from the server.  Please verify that the port and SSL
information is correct.  To access these settings close this dialog, then
click More Settings and click on the Advanced tab."

"Find incoming mail server (POP3): Outlook could not connect to the incoming
mail server (POP3).  The problem could be the server name or port, or your
server may not support SSL.  Verify your port and SSL settings in More
Settings under the Advanced tab."

"Find outgoing mail server (SMTP):  Outlook could not connect to the
outgoing mail server (SMTP).  The problem could be the server name or port,
or your server may not support SSL.  Verify your port and SSL settings in
More Settings under the Advanced tab."

All of my settings are correct.

Thank you,

Lola

Is this the entire contents of the log?  There's a lot missing.  For
example, I don't see any attempt to log into the POP server or to send any
outgoing messages.  Also, it appears that you're trying to send to the
server "pop.sbcglobal.yaoo.com" when you should be sending to
"smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com"

Post the exact values you're using for the POP server, the SMTP server, the
ports for those servers and the values and options from the tabs seen in the
"More Settings" account dialogue.

Those are all correct.  Do you have the "Log on using Secure Password
Authentication" option on the first page of your account properties or
either of the encryption boxes on the Advanced tab checked?

No none of them are checked

Well, I'm out of ideas.  Sorry.
