MS Office Forum / Outlook / Installation and Configuration / December 2005pfbackup will not install
I'm trying to install pfbackup.exe on my Dell. I'm running Office 2003 Academic and XP Media Center is my OS. I've already checked my registry for outbak.dll and it's not there. It isn't in my COM Add-ins and I can't install it from there either. I get the following every time I try to install: "This installation package could not be opened. Verify the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package." Help!? Any suggestions? Either double click the pfbackup.exe, or use start/run If this fails to install it, or gives a msg 'allready installed' (or similar) check Add/Remove dialogue for an Outlook Backup entry.
