Each time I load Outlook it changes mail from my setup to "localhost".  It's
a nuisance.

Do you have an older version of Norton Antivirus or other mail scanning
anti-virus program installed?

It may be PC-Cillin that's doing it

I checked the setting menu on PC-Cillin and noticed that "SCAR" was enabled.
This monitored incoming mail for viruses.  Now, I'll have to decide whether
the protection is worth the nuisance.  Thanks for your help.
