scanpst multiple exe's

I have 13 scanpst.exe's on this 2 mth old laptop.

Each has a different modified date such as 1997, 98, 96.

How come?

Is this a 'new' laptop from a supplier?
The modified date is the date of the instalation build.
What version number is shown?

yes a new laptop from LG.

I needed to extract one of the scanpst.exe (1997) onto the desktop. It was
created "today", modified 21 feb 1997, and acccesed today.

This is version 5.01

Then I cannot say whats occuring here.
My version is 11.0.6565.0, created July 2005
Located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033

What are your file locations?
What version of Office/OL?, which youve updated?
