Our company is in the process of switching to an Exchange Server (2003) and Outlook 2003. In Outlook the journal allows you to automatically link e-mail, appointments and such to the contacts. This feature only seems to work with the contacts in the users mailbox. Is there a way to use the journal to automatically track Outlook item with contacts in a public folder? Or is there another was to reach the same result? Thank you in advance.
Outlook does not provide any built-in simple mechanism for maintaining a public journal. See http://www.slipstick.com/journal/pubjournal.htm for a discussion of this issue and possible solutions.
