Hi

I have a pop3 mailbox in Outlook.

Sometimes server for ingoing messages changes from "mail.myemail.com" to
"localhost". Normally it do not matter, but sometimes I can't get my email.
When I change back localhost to mail.myemail.com and remove
/mail.nyemail.com from accountname, it works again...

I think it has something to do with IP adresses or DNS, but I am not sure.

What to do....

Regards

This might be due to installation of an antivirus or antispam tool that downloads messages locally to its own POP server.

Either DNS / WINS or even your Hosts file
c:\$Windir$\system32\drivers\etc

check ya hosts first.
