I work for a company that deletes all email older than 90 days.  They have
disabled the backup settings for my pst folders in outlook.  I came up with a
very coarse work around (rules to copy all email to a local archive folder
then back that up to a location not available to big brother) but it doesn't
append the file so I have to use multiple files.

Is there any better way to get a backup.  I would like to have one file for
each year.

Thank you for any help.

Your company has likely set a uniform policy of retention for a very good
reason. Sarbanes-Oxley COMPLIANCE. If you attempt to circumvent these rules,
you are placing your company at risk. You are also very likely placing your
position with them at risk in the process.
