I am trying to set up Outlook XP2003 to start automatically when machine
boots up and have it running in Offline so i dont have to have the programs
running 24-7.
As i have never tried to do this any help would be gratefully recieved.
Many Thanks
Allan

Even if it's in "Work Offline" state, it'll still be running 24 hours a day

Hi Vince, sorry must have just worded that badely. I just want Outlook to be
running in the back ground rather than being a main open application.

Outlook cannot be run as a service.  However, you can set a registry entry
that will minimize Outlook to the system tray rather than the taskbar.
