Right before I install SQL Server destop engine I get this error message.

What is it and how do I fix it?  I have been trying to get this PC which has
xp home loaded and office 2003 small business edition to install Business
Contact Manager, but either I get an installer error message (in which case I
updated the installer to no avail) or I get these fatal error messages.

What do I do?  Reinstall the whole OS?
