After recovering from a processor cooler fan failure.
I've founded that Outlook has gone blank, I mean I don't
have all my different folders (20 more or less) and none
of my e-mails (hundreds)nor contacts or whatsoever. Is
there any way to recover them?. How can I open the
files .pst. As far as I know they are to be some kind of
backup file for outlook but I don't have a clue about how
to deal with them

Thanks

You can open any PST file with the File | Open command in Outlook. There will be a backup file only if you made one.
