I just transferred outlook express settings from my old computer by file and
settings transfer.  My address book and old files transferred ok but cannot
get new computer to now to remember my passwords for different accounts so
have to type in passwords for different accounts each time I go to look for
e-mail.  Help please?

You can set the program to remember these passwords by default by going
to:

1) Launch Outlook Express
2) Tools, Accounts, Mail Tab
3) Select the accounts one by one and click on Properties button that is
on the right
4) On the server tab, the last check box is to request the program to
rember the password.  Tick this after entering the password.

I have tried this but it does not work for some reason - I have also noticed
that when the password screens come up for individual accounts the remember
password box has a tick that is greyed out and stays that way when I enter
password.  And yes I have tried clicking "apply" after entering passwords on
server tab.  Any other ideas?
