Hi,

I'm beginning to pull my hair out with this,
I'm using Vista RTM, Office 2007 and I have an Exc 2003 server with a FE
server acting as an RPC Proxy Server.
All works splendid using Windows XP, and has done for the past year.
Alll works well using Vista, when I am internal on the network my RPC works
fine, the diags tell me its connecting over HTTPS lovely.
When I am external, nothing works, RPC Diag shows me Connecting to mail and
dierctory........

I have read loads of posts on this, but no seems to know how to fix it??????
Before anyone asks, my client is configured exactly how it should be, the
same as it is under outlook 2003.

Someone must know........

Thanks,

Rob

I'm having the exact same problem.  I've tried disabling the firewall in
Vista and that didn't help either.

I've just re built Vista,
Installed Office 2003 and that dosent work either, but using a Windows XP
laptop right next to it does, so its not a comms or server issue, but must
bea vista issue  !!!!

Does anyone have an idea ????

I am having the same issue as well.  Has anyone found a solution yet?

I got it to work, if you do an upgrade from Office 2003 to 2007, rather
than a clean install.  Registry setting that 2003 does that it needs,
maybe?
