On my old laptop (Workgroup/Exchangeserver) I had alot of contacts that wasnt
stored under contacts, just was in my inbox.
When i got me a new desktop I was taking backup of my mail, all that no
probs the exchangeserver got i t aswell. BUT! when i in my old laptop just
needed to type in two-three letters and got a list of all my contacts
starting in those letters I now have to type in the whole adress. I have
tryed to copy over basicly all outlookfile i could find on my old laptop over
to the newone, but still dont work.

Anyone have a qlue?

The file containg your autocompletion cache is {yourprofile}.NK2 in the
(usually hidden) folder
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook, where "{yourprofile}" matches your mail profile
name.  Copy that file, put it in the same place on the new PC, make sure its
name matches the name of your current mail profile on that machine, and it
should work.  Here's some more information on it:
