MS Office Forum / Outlook / Installation and Configuration / February 2007Outlook 2003
I unloaded Outlook 2007 trial version. Then I reinstalled Outlook 2003 ( from MS Office Professional 2003 CD). I followed procedure to solve message: "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook - MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version" : right-click MSMapi32.dll file and then click Rename. Type Msmapi32.old, and then press ENTER. This did not solve the problem. Now when I tray to open get a message : "MS Otlook has encountered a problem and needs to close...".This repeats all the time.
