Months ago I tried to start Outlook 2003 and configure it for my university's
MS Exchange Server, never got it to work...

Now I am trying to get it to work with my Hotmail Plus account but it's
still stuck trying to configure for a Microsoft exchange server. When I try
and tell it to cancel it says that the account is not a offline account and
then Outlook proceeds to close. I've tried uninstalling Outlook and then
reinstalling but the account is never cleared so it just does it again.

I was thinking maybe manually deleting the account info, but I don't know
where it's located. Can someone tell me where it is, or how else to fix it?

'Control Panel|Mail|Show Profiles', delete the problematic profile
(Containing the Exchange Server service), then create a new profile with
only Hotmail configuration settings.

How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2007 and in Outlook 2003
