Outlook.exe still running on exit
Hi. I have a outlook 2007 configured with 3 profiles, one profile uses cisco
VPN connection to connect to exchange.
When i close outlook the window disappears but the outlook.exe process is
running in the background. So when i run outlook it doesn't ask me what
profile i would like to start, instead it just opens the window again with
the last loaded profile..
I have tried disabling add-ins with no result.
I tried a clean install, but the bug followed.

I had the same situation with Outlook 2003. After reading Hal's response
which pointed me to the Add-In area, I found that the ITunes add-in was the
culprit. When I disabled the ITunes add-in, Outlook began closing completely
when exiting.
This didn't happen until I downloaded the latest ITunes, version 7.6.0.29,
last week. Since I don't sync my ITunes with Outlook, it was no biggie to me
to turn the COM Add-in off.
