Can I push a PRF file to outlook 2007 clients through group policy? I tried
to use a logon script under user configuration and it did not seem to work.
Script -
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\outlook.exe" /importprf
\\server\ex.prf
I get a error when I log on and the script runs that says - "Cannot start
Microsoft Office Outlook. The command line argument is not valid. Verify the
switch you are using"

I would like this to run silent and configure the new clients to the
Exchange server without user interaction. All clients are running Outlook
2007.

Is it also possible to change existing clients to a new Exchange server as
well? I am installing a new Exchange 2007 server and I want the existing
clients to point to it without going around and changing all there settings.

I know a PRF is the way to go but how can I change the existing clients
through automation and the new clients without the error?

In a managed environment you are better off deploying Office application
settings via msp- or cmw-files.

When you use Move Mailbox during your migration, Outlook clients will
automatically update their configuration.

I am migrating cross forest and exporting the mail to PST files. I am going
to import into the new forest using Import PST in Exchange 2007 SP1.

I have some clients that do not have volume license copies of office and
when a user leaves and someone else takes there place I have to configure the
Exchange server settings I was hoping to automate this with just a Outlook
PRF file.
