Cannot create/migrate profiles in Outlook 2007

I installed Office 2007 after un installing Office 2003. My profile will not
migrate automatically - Exchange Server not available error.
I tried to create it manually, but it does not find my name. My exchange
settings are correct and I am able to access my account thru web access.
I have had no problem in the past with this procedure - accounts have
automatically migrated.

Any suggestion or help appreciated.

Thanks.

You're not in the office? Then filling in your name and the name of the
server isn't enough.
How do you connect to it? VPN or RPC over HTTP?
