How do I configure Outlook 2000 to read the user info from
a Windows 2000 server Active Directory?  I would like to
use it as an address book of company email addresses  -
we are NOT running MS Exchange server, the email is being
handled by an outsourced server running Linux and Sendmail.

Thanks
Dave

You would need to set up an LDAP address list. The details depend on whether you're running Outlook in Corporate/Workgroup or Internet Mail Only mode. See http://www.slipstick.com/addins/services/ldap.htm
