I get thay message every FIRST time that I try send/receive on broadband or
each time I play a song in MediaPlayer

You must have a dial-up widget defined.

Please tell me how to find and correct such a "widget". The docs on anything
to do with "dialup" are terrible!

That's a Windows question and should be asked in a newsgroup appropriate to
your version of Windows.
