0x80042109 using MSOutlook for Sky emails

'I get an error message saying:

Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your
outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider
(ISP).Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook cannot connect to
your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
when I try to use MSOffice 2007 to read Sky emails. Does anyone know how to
fix it?

First of all, have you verified with your ISP that you have all the correct
settings for server names and authentication?  Is there an AntiVirus
application set to scan your email anywhere in this picture?
