Outlook 2003 crashes at startup

Dear All

I have Outlook 2003 SP2 on laptop (cached mode) and it keeps crashing at
startup (application hang in event viewer). I do not want to uninstall and
re-install Office 2003 as this user has tweaked their outlook so much that it
will be a headache to put it back.

If I try and install SP3 for Office 2003 it fails with msi errors, this is
where the issue is. Has anyone seen this issue beofre?

Reinstalling won't delete any settings.
Without exact error information it is impossible to provide any specific
recommendation but it sounds you need to start with doing a repair on the
Office installation first.
