how do i fix in Outlook 2000 how do i get it to let me click on a hyperlink in an email?

how do i fix in Outlook 2000 how do i get it to let me click on a hyperlink in an email?  when i do click on a hyperink all it does is open a pop up window called locate link browser  how do i get it to open a browser to show the page that i s hyperlinked
