Installing Outlook

When I try setting up Outlook on my home computer, I get
the message "error in shortcuts file .fav" Has anybody
heard this before?

The file has become currupted them. If you rename it to .old it should be
recreated. Sadly all your configured shortcuts in Outlook will be gone.

I did a search and there is no .fav file on the
computer. I will try to reload Outlook and see if that
helps?

It should be here by default;
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\APPLICATION DATA\Microsoft\Outlook
