We are having a problem with Outlook 2003.  It will not
allow us to send an email to multiple email address. We
are only trying to send to 40+ addresses. When trying to
send email to multiple addresses it gives an error "to
many recipients" Is this a new feature in outlook that
prevents send spam or viruses?  We have a cleint list
that contains more then 30 email address and we send them
information through email.  The computer is running Win
XP.  Has anybody else come accross this?  I have looked
to see if there is an setting I could change but could
not find any.

Thanks for any help

Ask your mail administrator. Outlook can handle many more addresses than
that, but perhaps your mail system forbids it.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for responding.  I'll have to see if the mail host
suddenly started forbidding it.  We had updated to MS
Office 2003 a couple of months ago and just recently
noticed this problem.  We were thinking maybe this is a
new tool by MS to prevent spamming or perhaps to stop
mass mailings of viruses.
