reinstall backup outlook

i have outlook 2002 and sp home. due to a crash i need to
install a pst file that was saved on a cd.
what is the best way to get the pst data back inot
outlook? when i ry to import it i get an error that i was
denied access to the backup cd. please help

Copy the PST file on the harddisk and deactivate the "unread" flag from the
PST file. You can not open a PST file on a CD and also not a copy of the PST
on your harddisk if you haven?t deactivate this flag.

After you copy the PST file on your harddisk, select tis PST file/right
mouseclick and deactivate the "read only" setting.
