unable to send or receive e-mails via outlook

OE works fine. I prefer to use O and have followed the
install/set-up wizard a few times. still not working -
receiving error msg "task 'mail.comcast.net reported
error (0x8004010F). oper failed. an object could not be
found. PC maker- unable to assist, ISP says "not their
issue"
