I get the error message that Outlook can not open because the default e-mail
folders can not be found or accessed. I'm using Outlook XP 2002 How do get
the default e-mail folders so I can begin to use Outllook?

Hi, I have a similar problem, but I am running Office 2002 on new, single PC.
No Exchange server is involved. Has anyone come across anything on this? I
had office 2003 free trial and used it once or twice, then removed it and
installed Office 2002 which was on my old dead PC. Thanks.

'unable to open your default email folders, could not open the item, try
again'
then
'would you like to open your default File System Folder instead?'

If you say yes, you get
'Debug Error! Program C:\Programs\Microsoft\Office10\Outlook.exe
abnormal program termination' Abort/Retry/Ignore
all button choices exit the program.
I can't get into Outlook but all other Office programs are fine.
