Does anyone know how to transfer the outlook address book from one computerer
to a new one which also has outlook.

Outlook does not use a separate address book. All Outlook data is in one
file. The file you need to transfer is your Personal Folders file (*.pst)
It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
