I keep getting the message:  The connection to the Mcrosoft Exchange Serve is
unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.
Then I click ok and get the Microsoft Exchange Server:  General tabs asking
me for the Microsoft Exchange Server:  and the Mailbox:
When I click the Check name tab I get:  The name could not be resolved.

I am in the exact same boat. I recently installed MS Off and Outlook is doing
the exact same thing yours is doing. Not certain why but I would really hate
to pay MicroSoft Tech for something that probably is simple.

This could be from my having to use my recovery disk on my Win 98 so I could
then load Win Xp (I had Win 2000 Pro installed at the time). After installing
Win Xp immediately, I then installed MS Off Xp. I had not gone online as yet
so I am wondering if all my settings are off. I have MSN ISP and MSN Explorer.

Please let me know what you find out to get this resolved. Thanks, Tony.

It's good (?) to know I'm not alone.  Two of us at the office are having the
same problem, exactly.  The really weird thing is that the computer i am
currently using has the same software as the computer I am setting up.
Everything else works but my email.  I hope someone can help us with this
issue.

Two of us here at work have the same thing.  I am setting up a new computer
and get the same message.  The computer I set up prior to that works fine.
Hope someone can help with this issue.

JimB,
Did you ever get a satisfactory solution to this problem? Seems a lot of us
have the problem but no one has the answer

For Outlook 2003, go to 'Control Panel|Mail|Email Accounts|View or change
existing email accounts', select Microsoft Exchange Server and click the
"remove" button.
