I configured Outlook 2000 as shown on the website with imap.aol.com and
smtp.aol.com on port 587.  I can receive my emails from AOL just fine but I
am unable to send.  My user name and password show up but when I click OK the
window comes back again and again.  I eventually hit cancel and my Inbox is
updated but my Sent Items are not sent.  I get some kind of authentication
error.

Sorry for the post.  I figured it out.  When I set up the imap.aol.com and
smtp.aol.com it asks for your whole screen name@aol.com and when it goes to
authenticate it defaults to the whole screen name@aol.com.  I had to delete
the @aol.com portion of the screen name and everything cleaned up nice.
