My XP computer crashed.  I rebuilt the drive from the recovery disks.  I now
have it up and working with office re-installed.

I have a backup of my old drive.

How do I retrieve my contacts and calendar back into the new rebuilt system?

XP home, drive is NTFS format.  All updated through micorsoft update.

Search for your PST file (you may have to look in hidden and system folders
to find it) and copy it to your new drive.  Open it in Outlook using File |
Open.  It will open in your Folder List and you can configure it to be your
default file if you want.
