I have a user who has 84 PST files on his network drive. He clicks on them,
maybe the first 10 or 12 open, then after that, he is unable to open any
other PST files, unless he closes outlook and then launches outlook again,
then he can open that particular PST file, then eventually he is unable to
open another one, and must close outlook again..

Any clues as to what is happening ??? He is currently running Windows XP
with Office 2003. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated...

Why would you not expect it to happen? PST files on network drives have
never been supported.
