invalid primary mail account

Cox east is my ISP. When I recieve mail in Outlook 2000 a message comes back
that my primary username/password is invalid. It is the same
username/password I use to log onto Cox site(without a prob) and my secondary
account comes through fine. I have checked and rechecked my config.

I'd try removing and then readding the acct in Outlook as a first
troubleshooting step.
