Progress bar + addresses?

Using OL 2002
1.  When doing a Send/Receive, how do I get the progress bar to open
automatically, without having to click on its small icon in the lower right
corner of the OL window?

2.  When addressing email by clicking the "TO" button, why can't we see an
indication in the address book of which email address is which?  All I see
are a lot of names for multiple entries for each person.  Without having to
scroll far to the right for every single, friggin' entry, I can't tell which
address is a business address, a personal address, a fax address, etc.  I
can't even seem to drag the address book window to open wider, thereby
enabling a view of the addresses.  In WinME we could tell which address was
which because at least there was an "E-mail 1," or E-mail 2," or "Fax"
designation.  It's inconceivable that Microsoft would have made OL 2002 in
Office XP Pro more difficult and annoying to use than it was in WinME.
Therefore, it must be me -- that I'm overlooking a setting somewhere.  Can
you help?

Thanks.

1. Tools > Send/Receive > Send/Receive Settings > Show Progress...

2. You've overlooked nothing. The Address Book interface in Outlook 2002 is
terrible.

Thanks, but...when doing Send/Receive the progress bar doesn't appear
automatically.  I have to either do Tools>Send/Receive>Send/Receive
Settings>Show Progress..., or click the small icon in the lower right
corner.  Until two days ago, the progress bar appeared automatically.  Is
there a way for it to appear automatically again?

Did you clear the "Don't show this dialog box" checkbox?
