2 different computers, 2 different configs, 1 program

I installed Outlook on my desktop. Birthdays listed in contacts automatically
link to my calender. Then, I installed Outlook on my new notebook. Then, I
imported my contacts from desktop to notebook. The birthdays are no longer in
my calender. What the heck did I do wrong?
