Make sure the .PST file hasn't become marked READ ONLY. If it is, reset it
to Read/Write; Outlook will give you an Access Denied error if the .PST file
has the Read Only attribute set.

Thanks for all your support. /finally got it working in 10 minutes. Set up
new profile using the mail icon in control panel. Then was able to open
outloook, copied my e-mails from the old system to the new using a new
personal folder, then merged everything and i have a perfect setup.
MS should warn people the save my settings wizard can create havoc in
outlook when moving between machines if the drives are not exactly the same
setup.
