I was copying my .pst files to CD with drag and drop.  I accidently put them
on the desk top.  Thinking they were copies, I deleted them.  When I started
outlook it of course could not find the default mail location.  I discovered
my error, inserted the CD and restarted Outlook.  A dialoque came up, and I
selected the file from the CD thinking it would be saved to the default on
the C drive when I exited.  Now D:\Oulook.pst is now my default, and I can
not figure out how to change it back even though I have copied Outlook.pst to
the outlook directory under application data on the hard drive can someone
help?

Not plausible.
Outlook cannot even open a file on a CD.
Provide a more accurate story.
