Hi

I have a director who has a new laptop and he shares his
diary with his secretary.

Since installing the new machine with Service packs he is
asked for confimation of access to email addresses in
Outlook each time a Net folder update is transmitted. Is
there any way of permanently disabling this confirmation
or allowing his secretary full access without removing the
Service packs which I believe caused this behaviour.

The full message is as follows

A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have
stored in Outlook.Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexpected,it may be a virus and you should
choose "No"
Allow access for (Pull down box 1,2,5,10 mins)

Any help advice gratefully appreciated

Thanks

Paul Cannon

No, this is a side effect of the Outlook Email Security Update. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup.htm. You might find the Express ClickYes utility useful.
