After installing Office XP service pack 3, an Oulook dialogue box appears whenever I create a new email or reply to an email.  It states that a program is attempting to access my Outlook Address book (it's Word).  The only way I can prevent this diaglog box from appearing is to remove Word as my default email editor

I am trying to figure out a way to tell Outlook to allow Word to access the address book on a permanent basis so I do not have to provide permission each time I create or reply to an email while Word is my default email editor

Appreciate your help

See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2002sp3.htm#problems for both the
explanation and a possible solution for your Word issue, which is probably
related to Acrobat.

Sue

You identified the Outlook security issue perfectly.  I installed Acrobat prior to installing Office XP SP3.  However, I did not experience the problem with Outlook until after I installed SP3 so I suspected SP3 as the root cause.  The regsistry settings you provided resoved the problem immediately

Thanks so much for your assistance
