Outlook 2003 part of Office Pro

I have a Personal Folder that i cannot delete. I have run
the Scanpst tool but it did not correct the problem. I
believe the Personal Folder is left over from an .ost or
offline folder. I no longer am using Exchange to receive
email. I am now using SMTP.

How can i delete the Personal Folder?

I have a new PDA and i believe the folder is interferring
with the sync.

Many thanks for your support.

Try taking ownership of the file and then deleting it.
Make sure outlook is not open when you are trying to
delete it.  You can also try to boot up in safe mode and
then delete the file.

Just so you know all mail servers use SMTP to send email
over the internet.  Outlook and exchange use MAPI to talk
together.
