We are an office of about 80 people with everyone on Outlook and an Exchange
server.  Currently, individuals' pst files are stored on a seperate server so
that the psts are backedup nightly.

We want to move from individual pst e-mail saving and storage to a shared
environment where each project gets an e-mail folder that multiple users can
access and file e-mails.  I know pst files are not able to be shared, but are
there alternatives to pst to allow for this type of sharing?
Thanks.

Hi Honoluluoffice,

PST files are able to share. Microsoft do not support this solution. You
will find this Thrid Party Tools on this sites:

a very simple idea to share emails is, to create normal folders on a network
drive and to move the incoming emails from the PST files into this shared
network folders. The emails were saved as ".msg" files but you have to move
all the incoming emails manually from the PST file to the network folders.

Whats wrong with Exchange public folders? They can even have email
