Exporting Journal Info

Does anybody know how to get journal entries out of
Outlook and into a program like ACT while maintain the
link between the original contact in Outlook and the
journal entry?

I don;t think it can be done.  Ask in an Act! forum to confirm.

Hi - I think this will be fairly straightforward for you.
I managed to stumble across the info in  a knowledgebase

Now, I think these instructions will give you a step by
step guide to where you wanna go. If ANYONE happens to
note where MS might have placed info(HOPEFULLY in one
place-doubt that though :() on how a cybercitizen can
MIGRATE Outlook XP from a ME machine to a win XP machine
and including all the POP mail address es , shortcuts and
various other settings, along with the email - I WOULD
GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

How to Export Personal Folders (.pst) File Data
Use the following steps to export an individual folder
such as Contacts folder or a Calendar folder:
On the File menu, click Import And Export. If the menu
item is not available, hover your pointer over the
chevrons at the bottom of the menu, and then click Import
and Export.
Click Export To File, and then click Next.
Click Personal Folder File (.pst), and then click Next.
Click the folder that you want to export, and then click
Next.
Click the Browse button, and then select the location to
save the file.
In the File Name box, type a descriptive file name, and
then click OK.
Click Finish.
How to Import Personal Folders (.pst) File Data
Use the following steps to import a personal folders
(.pst) file into Outlook:
On the File menu, click Import And Export. If the menu
item is not available, hover your pointer over the
chevrons at the bottom of the menu, and then click Import
and Export.
Click Import from another program or file., and then
click Next.
Click Personal Folder File (.pst), and then click Next.
Type the path and the name of the personal folders (.pst)
file that you want to import, and then click Next.
Select the folder that you want to import, or select the
top of the hierarchy to import everything, and then click
Finish.
