Hi there,

I need help! An archived email folder has grown to be to
large for outlook to open it.  Does anyone know what I
should do?  I would like to be able to gain access to
these emails and possible break them down into smaller
archive folders so we can read them if needed.

Thank you

How big is the file? There's a 2GB limit in OL2002 and below....and in the
real world, problems usually rear their heads closer to 1.2 - 1.5 GB. If
you've exceeded the limit, you'll need a crop utility - back up the file
first.

See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/repair2gbpst.htm for the utility.
