I was told there is a 3rd party interphase solution that
can fix my current problem, which is I cannot send emails
within O.E. because my ISP is AOL. Has anyone experienced
this problem?  Any recommendations?

You'd need an available SMTP server. Who are you using for POP mail? Can you
use their SMTP server successfully over the AOL connection?

Note - AOL does not Play Nice With Others. If you don't really truly need
it, I'd suggest ditching it and getting a real ISP.
