Hi,

I have a small [4 computers: 3 on WinXP & 1 on Win98) network. How
can/should I set up these computers so that each user can go to any machine
to send/receive/manage their email?

We're not using an Exchange server (no server at all) and computers are
networked through a hub.

Note:
Currently, the computers don't have multiple users configured on them...

Any instructions, tips, suggestions, shortcuts, etc. would be appreciated.

Bye & thanks,

JV

P.S. If there's a solution that you can think of that will only work for
"all windows XP"  networks and not on mixed OS networks ... I'm interested
in those solutions, too.

you might look at some of the solutions here:

Also look at using IMAP accounts so that the default message store is the
server. Another alternative is to use the MSN Connector (subscribe to MSN
Premium) and use hotmail accounts and the shared Calendar etc resources. You
might need Outlook updated for this.

Your best option is Exchange but possibly not for such  small user group.
Using SBS 2003 is a practical and cheaper alternative (plus you get other
benefits).
