Good afternoon. I am hoping someone can help me with a
problems setting up a new Blackberry with an Outlook mail
client. I am running Office Outlook 2003 professional.
What has happened is, after installing the software for
the Blackberry client, the unit begins to synchronize with
Outlook, then stops with  the following error "WMS Idle,
DesktopMgr.exe application error. The instruction at
0x1144a1b9 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory
could not be read."
I have found references and a fix for a similar problem
with CC: mail and Office 97.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you should look on the blackberry site - they have some
service packs available to the desktop software.

also make sure you have downloaded all the latest patches
and softwre for -- your windows OS, outlooks 2002 and
also your internet explorer.

hopefully that helps...

I am having a similar problem - I can not get it to sync
with outlook 2000. I keep getting a Dr. Watson error and
an outlook error 87...

I have done the service packs and everything and no
luck ...
